Customer Reviews

Somewhat Disappointed

The Smashing Pumpkins have made some of the greatest and most groundbreaking music videos in the history of the format. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. The video looks good, but gets a bit boring by the end. It was also a poor choice for their first music video since the reunion, as their previous videos are well known for having interesting plots and not just being performance footage with cool visuals. P.R. Brown did fantastic work on Billy Corgan’s video for “Walking Shade”, but let me down with this one. Hopefully they will work with Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, DOM&NIC or Jonas Akerlund on one of the upcoming videos and remind everyone of the impact they had on the music video world. Also, for those of you yelling at iTunes for not having any of the old videos, they have no control over it. Virgin Records, who owns the rights to the videos, has to submit them to iTunes for them to be available for purchase, which they have yet to do.

Just get more

I like this song, but I don't really like the video. But the videos I DO like are 1979, Today, Tonight,Tonight, and Disarm! If you get those that would be great.

Finally! The Wait Is Over!!!!

Finally! itunes got some music videos from Smashing Pumpkins! but itunes, u guys have to do more than that! come on, get other music videos too like "Zero", "Bullet With Butterfly Wings", "Tonight, Tonight", "Today", "Everlasting Glaze" and more!!!

Of all the major alternative rock bands of the early '90s, Smashing Pumpkins were the group least influenced by traditional underground rock. Lead guitarist/songwriter Billy Corgan fashioned an amalgam of progressive rock, heavy metal, goth rock, psychedelia, and dream pop, creating a layered, powerful sound driven by swirling, distorted guitars. Corgan was wise enough to exploit his angst-ridden lyrics, yet he never shied away from rock star posturing, even if he did cloak it in allegedly ironic...
