If it hadn't been for Jack White's producing the amazing Wanda Jackson's new album, I might never have really given her a listen. This album ROCKS!! I love this video too, which gives her the full star treatment this icon deserves. I bought tickets yesterday to see her at The Loft in Atlanta on April 15th. I rarely see artists live due to not being able to see them in an intimate setting. I can't wait to see Ms. Wanda with about 650 other lucky people. Long live the queen...!
Old- School Rock - n - Roll !!
I would never have known about Wanda Jackson if not for this collaboration. "Thunder on the Mountain" sounds like it could have been made in the 50's. Jack White on the guitar rock'n out with solos updates this number to current day. The video's simplicity allows the viewer to feel transported to a different time. Highly recommend.
