I love how Adam Young seems to capture the essence of imagination with his lyrics and music vides. It's also awesome how Adam doesn't plaster his face all over his work like most artists today. The only time he even appears in this video is when the woman is looking at pictures. Owl City is deffinately a keeper. I can't wait for what is in store for us next.

Ok, I think its about time I rate this music video. I've watched it about 20 times and absolutely adore the beauty of this video. At first I was kind of disappointed that this video did not feature Adam Young or anyone of Owl City. But forgetting that and listening to the song and watching the music video, I realized that this video is AMAZING. It fits the song perfectly, after watching this numerous times I could not find one way to make this video better, because opts perfect. This has to be Owl City's most meaningful song (I would not say it is the BEST song, because I personally believe Cave In is his best song), but with this amazing song and beautiful music video together makes a work of ART. THIS is what I call a music video, this is WAY better then most music videos (simply being a video of the band singing and dancing to the song) I hate those, THIS is a VIDEO, it tells an amazing story. The storyline is truly AMAZING, telling the story of a boy attempting to fly, which seems to be an impossible task, but he believes he can. To whoever created this video I give a standing ovation and applaud them. Personally, I think Owl City is an amazing band, which has an amazing music video to go along with it. I did not like the Fireflies or Vanilla Twilight music video very much, those videos honestly made me loose hope in Owl City but this video put them back on top. Overall, a true work of art.

P.S. I love how they put Adam Young in the photo, very creative.

When I discovered this band, I was so happy. Owl City was fresh and unique, and CLEAN. I introduced my friends to Adam and got them hooked, too. When Fireflies topped the charts, I was thrilled! I wasn't the only one who saw Owl City's fabulousness.
Umbrella Beach was always one of my favorite songs, and I love the originality and innocence of it.
Keep it up, Adam. Don't ever change.

Owl City is the musical brainchild of Adam Young, who launched the project in 2007 while living at his parents' home in Owatonna, Minnesota. Troubled by insomnia, Young began spending his evenings in the household basement, where a computer and several instruments provided a diversion from his sleeping patterns.
