I have to say, I'm a huge fan of Matt Costa...'s old work. His new album is okay, but I became a fan of Matt Costa because of his old work, my favorite song by him being the Ballad of Miss Kate.
However, On the new album, Mobile Chateau is definetely one of my favorite songs by him. Also, this live version is so much better than the original. I'm a huge fan of this video.
I think Matt Costa's next album should be just him and a guitar/piano. When he plays acoustic, the soul in his voice really comes out. Hey, it seems a little out there, but so does this new album.
If you don't like the Monkees, dont buy this album. However, if you liked his old albums, you will really like this video!
