The Mall Video!

After grunge and progressively angrier music, New Radicals came up with a happy-sounding pop song...about hating the man. It was so unique at the time and it's still a great song. He has a Mick Jagger voice and really great songs. Calling it "pop" music might be selling them short.

The best single of the last 10 years --- bar none.

I'm not a huge fan of videos, in fact, I've only purchased three thus far on iTunes. But there's such a dearth of New Radicals product out there that I thought, What the heck, just get it. The album (Maybe You've Been Brainwashed, Too) is the most underrated rock album ever ... it's fairly close to perfect. And You Get What You Give is one of my all-time favorite singles. The video is actually quite good ... definitely in the liberating spirit of the song ... I particularly love all the pets being liberated from their mall-store cages. I also find it thoroughly refreshing to see a video that's not about T&A.

Come back!

This video is awesome! Follows with how great the original album is, too. If you are a New Radicals fan, you won't be getting anything more from this band, so this is a must-have!
