This is incomplete without Bob Seger!

Good.

I'm glad there's an Eminem song on here, because he is super patriotic about his city.
And I appreciate a song by the late Proof.
And D12, with both Eminem and Proof, and the rest of their "band", but why does My Band need to be clean?

What? No Detroit Cobras????!!!!

This is a fabulous collection and certainly a lot of great jumping off points with several genres and tributes, but...I'm surprised, sad and disappointed the Detroit Cobras were excluded from this collection. iTunes, you really missed the boat on this one. I realize space is somewhat limited but, c'mon, the Raconteurs AND the White Stripes? You limited Stevie Wonder, the Supremes, Eminem, Iggy and Smokey to just one song, but Jack White gets two songs? NOT FAIR!!! (Happy to see the Von Bondies on here, though. And really, really, really happy to see Madonna excluded.)

So, some further Detroit suggestions from a Motown Rocker Girl: Detroit Cobras, Gore Gore Girls, Suicide Machines, Necros, Lena Lovich (to kick it '80s style), and to repeat the lament: Bob Seger. It IS really weird that he's not included in this collection.
