    • 1. "Yes I'm Ready" by Jeffrey Osborne: "This song was originally recorded by Barbara Mason in 1965 and holds a very special place in my heart. As a teenager growing up in Providence, RI, I performed this song in night clubs many many times. Great melody!"
    • 2. "Close the Door" by Jeffrey Osborne: "This Teddy Pendergrass classic is also on my From The Soul release. I feel very fortunate to have the great Boney James playing an incredible saxophone solo which I think takes this song to another level."
    • 3. "Use Me" by Bill Withers: "This song was recorded by Bill Withers in 1972. I chose this because I wanted to get a little funky. I enjoy the raw earthy edge of Bill's voice. I also think that the drum track was one of the funkiest performances by a drummer in the 70s. James Gadson who played with The Watts 103rd St Rhythm Band was the drummer on this track."
    • 4. "I Want You" by Marvin Gaye: "This song has a haunting melody that just puts you right in the mood. I love Marvin's voice and his delivery was always impeccable."
    • 6. "Flash Light" by The Clinton Administration: "This is as funky as funk gets! Let the groove speak for itself!"
    • 7. "Walk On By" by Dionne Warwick: "Dionne's voice on this recording is as pure as any voice I've ever heard. The arrangement, orchestration and production by Burt Bacharach make this a classic that will forever be appreciated. This is simply beautiful!"
    • 8. "Gone (Featuring Consequence & Cam'ron)" by Kanye West: "Bet you didnt think I would chose a hip-hop jam, did you? Just wanted you to know that I'm still listening. I have to give props to Kanye for having enough depth to go back and appreciate the great Otis Redding. Great piece of work!"
    • 9. "Love Ballad" by L.T.D.: "Of course, I was the lead singer of LTD and this song was a career song for me. I dont think there is a better way to close."
