ok...REAL alternative!

ok to the people below who say "hurrah for amberlin and owl city" ok thats not what this set is about.
amberlin is modern rock
and owl city is pop
THOES ARE HARD FACTS
i havent listend to this but i know alot of these bands and most of the songs ive heard at least once elsewhere
ok you NEED TO GET THESE:
IVE GOT FRIENDS- MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA -ok this has got to be the best band on here PERIOD.
time to pretend- mgmgt
panic switch- silversun pickups- after you get this one go back and listen to their first album its AWSEOME, swoon is not so great though

aint no rest for the wicked-catge the elephant
the '59 sound -gaslight anthem
good arms vs bad arms - freightened rabbits
eraser- no age

The best songs are...

MGMT - Time to Pretend
Vampire Weekend - A-Punk
Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal
Matt & Kim - Daylight
Flobots - Handlebars
Cage the Elephant - Ain't No Rest for the Wicked
Crystal Castles - Vanished
Battles - Atlas
Dead By Sunrise - Crawl Back In

Owl City isn't really alternative, he's more electronic/pop.

Satisfied.

It's funny how you say only Owl City is good, when it's the worst of them all. Bands like Vampire Weekend, MGMT, and Manchester Orchestra are REAL. Owl City is way over produced. It doesn't bother me if you like that, but it's not music. Adam Young is not a musician, he's an entertainer.

Don't get me wrong, I like to listen to Owl City every now and then, but you can't trash the real music before you trash the over produced stuff.
