"Slapping down some favorite tunes on a playlist for the world to read (and judge) can have the same feeling as telling you a secret or two.

With that in mind, remember that a lot of my world is pretty much an open book. Spending a few years onstage will do that to you. Those years plugged into your guitar also make you grab on real tight to the (somewhat) chill world that meets you when the lights go down.

Give me my family, some great food — I'll grill up some nice fresh shrimp and lobster, throw some tortillas on the fire with a great salsa and some Mad Anthony's hot sauce, enjoy a nice shot of chilled tequila (Cabo Wabo, please), and we're there.

Oh...did I mention we're on the beach?

There ain't anything anywhere at anytime that makes me feel like I do hearing the waves smack the shoreline, feeling the sand between my toes and smelling the salt come on off the water. THAT, my friends, is as good as it gets.
