The Beach Boys weren't only one of rock's greatest groups, but also one of its most complex. Behind their soundtrack to the endless summer stood Brian Wilson, a musician whose towering genius inspired the Beatles, upon hearing Pet Sounds, to craft Sgt. Pepper's. The only true summer album
No but seriously, the Beach Boys are the definition of summer. I'm in college and the only artist that should be played is the Beach Boys.

The Beach Boys Essentials - The Basics, lists 25 tunes, but you only get 24. What's missing? Kokomo. It does say "Album Only", but if it isn't included in the Essentials iTunes package, why list it. I call this false advertising. The Beach Boys are great. My gripe is with iTunes for assembling a package and then not delivering. Otherwise, I'd have givem 5 stars. If you're a fan of The Beach Boys, buy this album; just don't expect to get Kokomo.
