And Jess Makes A Great Falcon Noise
Jeff and Jess are very cool, wonderfully odd people who tell funny stories. You can hear them getting to know each other better (like penpals and good podcasters do). And they don't try too hard (like bad podcasters do). Throw in some killer musical interludes and you have some really good stuff for your ears to eat. Dig in.
Well...
Jess wants a review. As a fellow Mainer, I will make it happen. So...I like the back-and-forth between Jess and Jeff. Unforced and genuine. And they both can bring the funny. Plus, you have to like a girl who drops the f-bomb without a worry. And it's the USS Arizona, guys. :)
No unicorns. Just funny things.
"Two people who've never met in person doing a podcast?" the doubters cried. "It'll never work," they said (probably). "No one will listen," they screamed (most likely). "Please don't do this," they pleaded (I bet). Well let me say something to all those naysayers out there who probably exist: 21CP works. And by works, I mean makes me laugh. I don't know Jeff and Jess at all (or do I?), but the concept here, despite being a really interesting one, could easily have fallen flat after one episode. It doesn't. Instead there's an instant and enviable chemistry that pulls you in and makes you feel like one of the gang - like a third pen pal. And not in an awkward, third nipple sort of way. Also, I'm pretty sure I just coined the nickname "21CP" a few sentences ago. You guys can have that. Just maybe mention this review or something whenever you use it is all.
