Great enthusiasm and advice!

I can't tell if they are podfading, but I hope not! Joe and Nicky have great rapport and make me enthused to game. They've turned me onto a bunch of great games. Check them out!

The Devil's in the Details

I'm giving this podcast two stars because their audio quality is excellent (which is a big deal to me). So, Sound Quality: 5, Content: 1. | In their episode on the Horror genre, Nicky and Joe went to great lengths to talk about mainstream games like All Flesh and Vampire, while dismissing the game Dread as "a failure" without any explanation as to why. Ultimately, their advice on running a horror game was summed up in two points: "Turn down the lights/use some candles, and describe things a lot." | They have an episode entitled Does System Matter?, in which they freely admit that this topic has been argued to death for the past fifteen years. Honestly, it is time we laid this one to rest. | What's with the musical interlude between the introduction and the main topic? Why do they feel the need to eat up so much time making us wait for the content? | I gave this one about fifteen episodes, but haven't found one piece of useful information or entertaining banter. Pass.

Super enthusiastic and fun gaming show!

Every episode is fun. Great reviews of indie games and supplements, plus refreshing looks at some big-name games. AND the only charades-playing dragon in the Midwest.
