Great Quality Sound, Poor Quality Content

I sometimes have a hard time listening to this show, I don't know why but the hosts voices just kind of blend together for me. Combine that with their "freebootaz" system where they want you to pay them to keep podcasting and I just can't keep being interested in the show. I can find fanboyism in better places.

Lots of info, poorly presented

40k Radio has a ton of great info for people that play and model Warhammer 40k. It's very informative, that's the podcasts greatest strength. The problem with it is the hosts are mediocre at best, and the format is seemingly pointlessly ridgid. Spencer is an okay host, clear and good at presenting information, but completely bland. He would be a great straightman if he had a good co host to make jokes. Unfortunately Phil isnt that guy. His role should be lightening what can be a very dry and number heavy podcast, but he really doesnt bring anything to the show. If they got the guy from Blue table painting who was actually pretty funny to cohost the show would be 10x better. As for the formatting of the show they play it very much like a radio show, which at least in my opinion deosnt make the podcast any better. They break up their little segements with ads and intros that really have no point. If you want info about the game though they do present a lot of interesting content for both gaming and modeling.

I've been waiting sooo long for a 40k podcast! And you guys are awesome on yours. You have information most people couldn't find anywhere else and its a pleasure to listen to. I myself have lost my hobby routine for over a year now, and want to get back with my army. Thanks to this podcast, i am, and you should look forward to getting another free boota soon. p.s. will there be any more Tacticas on other armies... maybe Nids (hint hint)...
