Bobito brings something unique to the podcast space
"A Live Well Wasted's" high production values and overall level of polish make it a more than welcome addition to what is becoming a crowded market of videogame-related podcasts. It's clear that Ashley has put the same amount of work and care into his first podcast that he would have put into a well-written magazine article. While the traditional, less polished, style of podcast certainly has its place, it's nice to see a more thoughtful approach to the medium. If the round-table style podcast is the auditory equivalent of a hurried blog entry--where immediacy is more important than perspective and polish--then Ashley's "A Life Well Wasted" is analagous to a well-edited magazine piece, where every sentence is in place for a reason.
A paradigm shift in podcast game journalism
This hasn't been done quite this well before; a podcast with an introspective, in-depth look at video games and the gaming culture that speaks well to any social group, not just to “hard-core” gamers. An audible editorial for anyone even the least bit interested in the hobby.
Robert Ashley enthralls and entretains
Mr. Ashley aka Bobbito delivers the goods in great form, with a flowing voice that is sure to keep listeners hooked on his promising future podcasts. The EGM dissolution seen from within is a hot topic expertly handled in Robert's unique style. A Life Well Wasted is most certainly not a wasted podcast. Video gaming enthusiasts and Yaddle milk connoisseurs should not miss Robert Ashley's podcast.
