Podcast Description

The best podcast you've never heard! Some people have called Roxy and Jeremy great. Those people are smart. If you disagree you are dumb. We're a small little podcast dedicated to everything pop culture and more... Makes sense, right? Roxy lives in an evil succubus cave and murders cute things for sport. Jeremy works on movies and tv shows yet has no clue what the h*ll a good movie is. We love horror, b-movies, cult flicks, laughing at chick flicks, making fun of studio horror movies, stupid tv shows, bad actors, John Landis, and NOFX... Well Jeremy loves Landis and NOFX, Roxy eats men. Find us on the web at AcidPopCult.com, @AcidPopCult on twitter, and yup, you guessed it, facebook.com/AcidPopCult. Email us at AcidPopCult@gmail.com and Roxy will show more boob on air. I guess that's it for now. See You Next Wednesday...

Two Guys, A Girl and a Pretty Good Podcast

I stumbled onto AcidPopCult on Twitter @AcidPopCult and was pleased to see them launch their own podcast a few weeks ago.

Every episode features a threeway discussion of film, television, music and whatever else might catch the eyes of the hosts. What makes this show different than most is the depth of the discussions. This isn't one of those podcasts that pimps an artists work and recites advertising material word-for-word in their discussion. They each weigh in with well-thought-out insight into a film's plot, quirks, social impact and entertainment value with an honest, personal view. Occasionally, they even bust out the funny and make me chuckle.

I appreciate the music hunk of the podcast as well because I too am fond of punk and other various genres of heavy music. Through two episodes that's been the type music generally discussed. I was immediately hooked when I encountered someone else who not only knows who Elvis Hitler are, but still listens to the them. I thought I was the only one.

It's got some cussing in it, but so do most of the voices that chatter in my head all day, so that doesn't bother me. I understand how difficult it is to watch some of the movies they've discussed without muttering at least a few profanities. I know Bloodsucking Freaks made me want to cuss.

I hope they are here to stay, and I hope they plan on working toward the goal of improving the audio quality just ever so slightly as they continue to crank out pretty good podcasts.

Very attractive hosts, very attractive topics.

Acid Pop Cult is a young podcast that shows a lot of promise. I look at it the way a parent mght look at an ultrasound and proclaim "This embryo will one day cure cancer, kill all the Nazis and save the whales!!" Although, if Acid Pop Cult decides to be about skate-punk, slasher flicks and Buffy instead I'll like it even more than if it did that other heroic stuff.

simply stunning

I can tell just by listening to the silky smooth voice of Jeremy that he's hung like a horse. It is truly an injustice to the throngs of teenage women that this is a podcast and not a video show. I only listen to two things, The apc podcast, and the band enya. I heard a roomer that if you listen to an apc podcast and enya at the same time, jesus comes back, but i'm too scared to try it. If you're into punk rock, awesome movies, horse weiners, and the awesome drunken ramblings of the sexiest people on earth, subscribe now!

p.s. i once saw a photo of roxy, and i immediately ejaculated in my panties. proceed with caution.
