Amazing
As someone who is involved in media, and lived in the Middle East, I can say that this is one of the few places I have seen important and recent footage of Baghdad. The choice of what to show is balanced. Some is everyday, such as relatively peaceful neighborhoods and people trying to put their lives back together. Some is not so peaceful, giving vivid accounts of aggression by U.S. forces. Try to put this kind of work on mainstream American media. It's simply too important and too real. iTunes, Podcasting and these four young journos are all to be congratulated. Excellent work!
The way it is
Watch the video of the families dealing with aftermath of the Gulf war, Baghdad Children's hospital, Crisis of curfews and the artist's life after the invasion. These are clips from the lives of the common - post invasion. The video bloggers have not taken any sides, pro or anti war; they are simply showing the lives of people as they are. For once we see the perspective of few of the millions of Iraqis that have been been effected by the occupation and chaos. You may love George Bush, but atleast love him enough to see the reality of the conflict and the toll that its taken on people's lives.
This is a real look at real people in Iraq
It’s so easy for so many naive inhabitants of the United States to pretend that Iraq is filled with wicked inhabitants who are consecutively planning to kill the pure and blameless masses that live in America. I watched the first episode and have since downloaded every episode. These are true stories of real civilians that have been forced by fate to make a sacrifice for America’s freedom war in Iraq.
