Great to hear author provide background on her story
This was a terrific story, and it was great to hear some details about what lead the author to write the piece. She talks about being a lapsed Catholic and the light touch she used with the main character Ruby questioning the nuns she moves in with about their faith. She does have some very funny observations in the story -- like wondering how many trivial things have patron saints after discovering there's a patron saint of headaches. I hope ASF will keep this up. I would have liked to hear from all the authors in the Spring 2010 issue, like Mike Young, Jeff Parker and Laura van den Berg.
