First rate sci fi.

While Sigler's rendition of the voices of the female characters is a bit disturbing, everything else about this story is top quality. Yeah, he recorded it in his home studio, but the story envelops you so much you won't notice after 5 minutes. Plus, it's friggin' free! Authors with big pub company contracts need to beware. Scott is leading a new breed of authors & storytellers in a parade that will reinvent the definition of 'audiobooks,' and change the way all publications are produced and distributed. If you like it as much as I do, listen to more of Sigler's quality stories and then find a way (like through podiobooks.com) to leave him a donation. Support this rising industry so it can continue to suppor tyou with work of this caliber.

Fantastic blend of sci-fi, action, & horror

Fun, fast, and furious- don't miss this one. Nice to finally have an sci-fi/horror story that doesn't rely on the supernatural. Check out Scott's other podiobooks: Earthcore and Infection.

Sci-fi horror is not my favorite genre, but I'm enjoying this a lot. Not all authors read their own work very well, but Sigler is quite good. He even does the voices of his characters, which I first found a little corny but it's growing on me.... Likewise the plot -- a first I thought it was sounding derivative but suddenly it changed, veering off in an entirely new direction. Lots of graphic violence, so not for kids, but much, much better than several audiobooks I paid money for. 4 1/2 stars..
