Podcast Description
Anon Poetry Magazine's podcast combines interviews with poets, readings of poems and views and news on the poetry scene. Anon is an anonymous submissions poetry magazine founded in 2003 by Mike Stocks and now under the editorship of Colin Fraser and Peggy Hughes. All poems are assessed without any knowledge of the poet's name. Publication is not anonymous - the editors only find out the poet's name if, and only if, a poem is accepted. If we reject a poem, we never find out who the author was. The podcast is not really devoted to the theme of anonymity as we are about celebrating excellent poetry and showcasing some of the best talent in contemporary poetry. But we believe our submissions proceedure ensures fairness in the often difficult process of selection.
