Perfect

This is the best podcast out right now, PERIOD. A perfect place to go for DMB new, I'm telling my friends about this podcast!

If you consider yourself a fan, you need to listen to this

Incredibly entertaining and a perfect complement to an already fantastic website. If you like Dave, you will be blown away by the unheard of intricacies that surround this band. You will be a walking DMB encyclopedia. (for better or worse... :) While some might lay criticism on these boys I feel it is simply jealousy. If DMB is your thing, you will not be disappointed.

Good idea and good promotion for website, but missing key elements.

I'll give this podcast a 2 1/2 stars because I believe these guys are half way to having something. Both Matt and Jake seem very knowledgeable and that's great, but how long can you really hash over rare songs and why the band won't play them anymore. Obviously these guys are great fans, but don't criticize Dave's songs like you could write any better. Some of his songs aren't very good, but until you release a chart-topping single leave those opinions out. Constructive criticism when talking about song-writing doesn't make any sense considering Dave is a very poetic songwriter. And let's think about why Stefan's poll wasn't answered. There are rare songs and then there are songs like Blue Water, Spotlight, and so on... If you're wanting them to play those songs you're crazy and go ahead and keep waiting with your fingers crossed. The only people who responded to that poll are DMB fans that know that song, which in reality is only maybe 30% of Dave fans and that's a very resonable percentage. I realize the topics would be better during an ongoing tour and perhaps that's why we haven't seen a new podcast in a while. So maybe I'll hold out that they'll get better with that in mind. All in all, the podcast is a good promotion tool and resource for Dave fans that wish to be emersed weekly and monthly with talk about DMB. However, the one thing I'd like to change is more e-mail questions being answered and less of everything else. The info presented on BitTorrent, Warehouse, ticketing and trading, and features on the site I believe is also a useful way to use the podcast. Make your knowledge a helpful tool for those who have valid questions. Leave your DMB opinions elsewhere.
