Podcast Description
ASSSSCAT, the Upright Citizens Brigade's improv juggernaut that has played to critical acclaim and sold out audiences in New York City for the past ten years, has landed in Los Angeles. So what exactly is ASSSSCAT? Well, it starts with a group of improv comedians currently working in film and television taking the stage accompanied by a special guest monologist. Some guest monologists are talented celebrities, others are screwed up weirdoes. Either way, they usually have great stories to tell. We take a suggestion from the audience, then the show begins. The special guest shares off-the-cuff thoughts, feelings, and personal remembrances inspired by the suggestion. The improvisers in turn use this impromptu monologue as fodder for a series of high octane, balls-to-the-wall improvised sketches that have made this show one of the longest running improv shows in the history of the world. Cast: Matt Besser, Ian Roberts, Matt Walsh, Chad Carter, Sean Conroy with special guests Andrew Daly, Tim Meadows and more.

Worth it.
This podcast is really for the people obsessed with the UCB Theater and wished that they could see more live performances there. This is perfect for someone like me who does not live in California. I love this podcast and the Asssscat show. Some people say that the audio quality is bad but as long as you have earbuds, you can understand what's being said. The quality of performances and improve is top notch. I'm just glad that they're being recorded at all and being offered to the public.

This is some of the top improv comedy you will ever find. Simply amazing. Who cares about the quality, just be happy something this funny is free and available for you to listen to.
Matt, Matt and Ian are golden gods
Anyone who doesn't dig on Asssscat is, no doubt, a big fat boring poophead. That said, let's make this podcast a video podcast...improv is best seen rather than heard.
