MPL and Hear Music are celebrating the release of Band on the Run, the first release in the Paul McCartney Archive Collection. Personally supervised by Paul, Band on the Run has been newly remastered at Abbey Road Studios. This very special release will be available as a Standard CD, Special 2 CD + DVD Edition, Deluxe 3 CD + DVD Collectors’ Edition, and 180 Gram Double Vinyl. A Digital Download is also available. The podcasts provide an insight into the band behind the album, the cover shoot session and recordings, as well as a glimpse into their time in Lagos. There is also a sneek preview of the Deluxe Edition.

I'm with the band on the run.
I was stunned to see this on the list of podcasts today. Being an avid Beatles, and Paul fan I instantly clicked. Before I knew it I'm being shown little clips of the process of Band on the Run. Hearing Paul's narration, and I was so excited. I'm subscribing, and if you are a Paul fan, a Beatles fan, you'll appreciate this little four minute video and want to subscribe as well. I can't wait for more. These videos are really well put together and with Paul's voice, I sort of wanted to run away with him all over again.

I remember my father playing the LP of Band On The Run, so this was a treat.
