My favorite podcast. Hands down.
Finally. A radio talk show hosted by intelligent black folks WITHOUT the coonery, WITHOUT the broken english and WITHOUT the N-Word flying around every 3 seconds.
BUT WAIT! THAT'S NOT ALL!
You get all of this WITHOUT a brainwashed, conservative POV. Finally, a black podcast coming from the left that is informed, hosted by articulate people and led by the very funny Elon James White!
Not only do they cover politics and effectively counter the conservative punditocracy that has taken over the media, but they lampoon the ridiculousness of CURRENT black american pop culture.
If you like the vibe of Aaron McGruder's early Boondocks comic strips, you'll love this show. No joke, this is the podcast that I have been waiting for ever since I discovered internet radio 5 years ago.

Outstandingly informative, insightful and humorous commentary dished with a saucy side of Blackness
As a progressive African-American living in Germany for several years (by the way Elon I appreciate the ‘shout out’ on the Jan 28th show), I feared that I may be losing touch with American Blackness.
Germany has lots of Afro-Germans, but it's a lederhosen, sauerkrautish, Porsche driving Blackness. Wonderfully flavorful, but not quite the taste of home.
After discovering the hilarious, yet hard-hitting webcast This Week in Blackness, I was just as pleased to discover this amazing podcast.
Now I listen every morning after drinking my black coffee while writing my black bicycle through the Black Forest (actually, I live nowhere near the Black Forest but the rest of its true).
Great podcast, great host, great topics. I look forward to starting my day with a little wacky blackness.
