Disgrace

To charge a subscription price to listen to a free over the air broadcast a day latter without the ads. Now they have changed their pitch for this product to include "for pennies a day", as if to justify what they are doing. We already spend plenty more "pennies a day" on cable TV, Internet, cell phone and data service etc., (not to mention our actual necessities) to the tune of about 1,000 pennies a day or more. Why not pile on. No wonder we are all in debt. Honestly Bloomberg, you couldn't go to one of those fat Wall street ad agencies and drop an ad or two in your podcast at their expense, that you have to ask your main street listeners to cough up some more "pennies a day"?

Not worth it

This was a good podcast when it was free. Now they give you a 2 minute teaser to try to get you to pay for a subscription for Bloomberg podcasts. It's just not worth it. I would look for other business / economics podcasts instead

USED TO BE One of the best finance/business pdocasts

2009: This podcast covers a broad range of anythng financial. If you like this kind of stuff its very informative and convienent. It is by no means a "get rich quick" or "buy this stock" podcast, it will make you a better, more informed investor 2010 Update: I understand Bloomberg and Tom's need to make money hence the introduction of a subscription offering but one of the best podcasts (that I habitually listened to ) has become worthless and I no longer listen. Use the subscription model for the WHOLE show and additional content and give us a 45 minute summary like you used to. PLEASE give us at least what you used to and fill it with adds, GOOG makes it work. I am now listen to the radio stream online -which is free anyhow... Not all of us work for Goldman Sach and all I am trying to do is "Be Smarter"
