Paul "The Book Guy" Alves and co-hosts Greg Otte and Chris Jagr recommend and review books, audio books, audio dramas and podcasts. Youre sure to come out of each episode with something you want to read or listen to. This weekly show is full of audio clips from books and other book news. We also cover those new-fangled gadgets we use every day to read books on. We keep the show clean (we even review kids' books for all the parents out there) but have added the explicit tag because some of the books we review feature content not appropriate for children. Paul The Book Guy show is now a part of the Bear Crawling Nation of podcasts.

Open your mind to a world of books
Who knew that there were so many genres and styles of writing? Well I didn't before finding Paul The Book Guy. Books and audio books are both reviewed on the podcast in an entertaining format. The show breezes by quickly and the banter between Paul, Greg and Chris never fails to amuse me. I've never been much of a reader but I've turned the corner and found that I really enjoy a book if it captures my imagination and this podcast has me starting my own Book Mountain to tackle. I think I need to invest in a good reading chair if I'm ever going to get through them all.

It's nice to listen to real readers talking to writers about their books. It's refreshing to know that women aren't the only demographic for novels, and OMG, but Paul and his crew are FUNNY and make me feel like I am in the room with them. I love these guys. I can't wait until I'm in Toronto so I can meet them in person.
