Best of OTR

I've found it somewhat hard to find good old time radio on iTunes, but by far, Botar's is the best. Shows like "The Shadow" and "Fibber McGee & Molly" are favorites of mine (I like to say I'm young when I hear this stuff--I'm 38). Botar has also introduced me to "new" old favorites like "Tales of the Texas Rangers", "Boston Blackie", and all the various radio shows featuring Sherlock Holmes. I find that 30 minutes at the gym goes by much faster listening to one of these shows that ten 3-minute songs or watching a TV show. Whoever Botar is, Thank you for bringing these classics back to life!

Keeping Old Time Radio Alive

Botar's old time radio is a fabulous collection of comedy, mystery and supsence. All of the shows are in their original format (even comercials and filler music) giving and upholding a piece of american history. I am a true old time radio addict and a great fan of this podcast!

Realy good!!!

Botar's transcriptions of Fibber McGee and Molly and Burns and Allen are probably the best you'll be able to find. The sound is absolutely excellent and blows away the other FM&M and B&A podcasts! Because of the excellent quality of the podcasts, what was originally curiosity about these folks has turned into an addiction for me and I always want to hear more. His podcasts of some historical broadcasts (Edward R. Murrow in England and the recording made on a Lancaster bomber raid over Berlin) are fascinating sound artifacts from WW II. I would love to hear more. Thank you Botar!!!
