Excellent Advice For Investing
I have been listening to this guy for a few months now and I am very impressed. Brian breaks down the basics of investing 101. There are so many simple mistakes the average individual makes that can result in a large amount of money (or potential money) lost. Brian educates the listener so that he/she may avoid these critical errors. He also stresses and emphasizes the importance of planning for your retirement AT A YOUNG AGE so that you may enjoy one of your biggest assets for incurring wealth: Compounding Interest! You can not rely on Social Security or Pension Plans to provide enough income for your retirement. I’m 25 years old and have contributed 15% (not including my company match) into my 401K for 3 years now. I have a ROTH IRA which I max out each year and am currently campaigning for my company to adopt a ROTH 401K plan. So subscribe to the podcast, listen to Brian, and start accumulating wealth!
Fair and balanced
Brian does a wonderful job and I would recommend this podcast to anyone looking for an intro to personal finance. I've been a subscriber since last September and have found some take-away value in almost every episode. Brian is a welcome departure from the sensationalism and scare tactics one comes across often in personal finance. He keeps the self-promotion to a minimum and provides common sense, grounded advice. A delight to listen to!
Brian, The Money-Guy, Is Top Notch
The Money-Guy couples extrodinary financial advice with simple, easy-to-understand language that financial novices can understand. Brian jumps right into his financial chaos topic-of-the-day and covers that topic with great clarity and depth. As a fee only financial planner, Brian provides practical and unbiased advice to his clients with his day job and brings that same unbiased advice to his podcast. I look forward to hearing his podcast every two weeks and I hope that this podcast becomes popular enough to allow the Money-Guy to share his insight with us more often.
