The WORST of Howstuffworks!
I tried to listen to this podcast. I can't get past how the one host, Ben, knows absolutly nothing about cars. On top of this Ben is a mouth breather, and is very annoying to listen to. Last but not least, the topics aren't very great. "What to take on a road trip"? "What should I do after an accident"? Seriously, this is more for people who don't know how to drive than people that love cars. To put it easily, it was painful to listen to.
More than I expected from a podcast about cars!
I'm sooooo glad this podcast isn't some sort of testosterone induced, macho machanic, NASCAR-a-thon. It's more like if you were to surf the web at random with an automotive theme! I especially liked the Death-proof car episode and the hybrid car/solor power car episodes. The crash test dummies episode was crazy! These are things I want to know about! And I actually like the dynamic of the hosts. The one guy is the car expert and the other guy asks him the questions. They're likable, knowledgable and fun! I'm honestly inspired to try to fix my own car. Way to go HSW! I'm going to read up on how the starter on my car works now!
A Funny, Accessible Approach to Automotive Stuff
This is a fantastic podcast from HowStuffWorks! The hosts have an engaging rapport that grabs your attention from the get-go and keeps you listening until the end. Basically, it's like listening to two funny, intelligent friends discuss car-related stuff. If you like all things auto, you'll love this show. If you're not remotely interested in cars, you'll probably still enjoy it!
