Customer Reviews
Perfect For Its Target Audience
I'm not sure I understand a couple of the negative reviews here. The negative reviews I have read say nothing about the quality of the podcast (which is quite good) and much more about the writers' negative views on Catholicism. It's as if heavy metal fans tuned into a country music podcast and and were shocked to find that it's not to their liking. Surprise! Obviously, if you are not interested in understanding Catholicism, this podcast is not for you. If you are, then you are in for a treat. The discussions are interesting, engaging, and enlightening.
"Easy"? Not hardly!
Those who believe CAL only present the "easy" answers really haven't been listening much. (And they haven't been reading their Catechism, either!) CAL has always presented the teaching of the Catholic Church in a clear & unfiltered manner by knowledgeable people who get their information straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. They strive to be in line with the pope & magisterium at all times. I've listened daily for over 5 years now & I can say that this show frequently takes on the tough issues facing the Church today. Those who find the orthodox stance the show takes lacking should look to plank in their own eye before they examine the splinter in their neigobors. It's to themselves & their own stance they should look first. Perhaps that is where the "easy" way has truly been taken!
Top Notch!
The best and most orthodox podcast on the web, Catholic Answers serves up a great variety of guests and shows that cover all aspects of Catholicism.
