Entertaining, Insightful, and Biblically Based
This podcast is one of the best I've listened to on the issues of Christianity and culture. Instead of rejecting or conforming to culture, these guys encourage believers to use discernment to understand good art.
Every Christian should hear this podcast!
I was once told that every Christian should have a Bible in one hand and a newspaper in the other. In other words, we need to know what is going on in the world and filter it through our Biblical worldview so that we can be in the world but not of the world. This podcast does an excellent job of helping us fairly and critically think through the news and culture of today and come to a good balanced understanding of what it means, why it is popular and whether or not it is good to engage in it. I totally recommend this podcast to every thinking Christian that wants to learn to grapple with and understand what is going on in our world of pop culture and become more relevant to this generation. Learn to understand why certain things resonate with people and how we can use those topics to deepen our understanding of the people we are trying to reach. Richard Clark and Ben Bartlett are helping us not only hold the newspaper in our hands, but interpret it using a solid Biblical worldview. Thanks guys! Check out their website too. Good stuff!
