Depth and Application
David Johnson is one of the most engaging teachers I have ever heard. The depth of the sermons while giving practical applications is amazing. Nothing watered-down here.
Listen up!
These messages are mainly delivered by Senior Pastor David Johnson, who's been teaching for about 30 years. Steve Wiens and Jen Lindwall alternate with Dave but they're relatively new. Occasionally Keith Meyer, Al Shuck, and others will chime in. It's about The Message, not the people, but I went there for over a decade and worked there for a few years before I moved away, so I remember the people fondly. I am grateful that I can continue to listen to the sermons, as many former Open Door attenders do, all over the world. Dave follows the Spirit, he digs deep, he says what needs to be said the way it needs to be said, and he goes for as long as it takes. He has been a primary spiritual teacher for most of my life and I highly recommend his messages.
