Puzzle Peace | As we continue to discuss the Good Life, we discover we were created to experience this life together. Our life in Christ is not intended to be one of isolation. Rather, when we choose to follow him, we are welcomed into the community of faith. No longer walking the path alone, we find peace as our life in him connects us with others. Please Note: The first minute of the podcast is silent but the sermon will start after that. | 2/19/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Way of Life | Today we start exploring the Fine Print of our vision, and specifically, we talk about what it means to experience the Good Life. In some way, we are all searching for that place where we know who we are, why we are here and where we belong—in essence, the good life. In the gospel of John, Jesus says he came show this life, to share this life, to lead us to this life. Through him, we discover that this life is found in God alone. | 2/12/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Picture This | As we continue with our wedding imagery, we recognize that saying I Do is just the beginning of a couple’s life together. As great as those wedding photos may be, they simply mark the start of the couple’s story. In the same way, when we say I Do to Jesus, he has in mind all sort of moments and memories that lie ahead as we mature in him. This morning, we specifically take a look at the Fine Print section of our books and see how we intend as a congregation to put our vision into practice during the upcoming year. | 2/5/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Marks of Maturity | Those who follow Jesus welcome opportunities to grow. When we say “I Do,” we commit ourselves to a path of maturity, not mediocrity. When we pledge our hearts to Jesus, we promise to love him totally and completely. This morning, as we continue to explore our five-year vision, we consider specifically how we can grow and mature by engaging in ministry and service. | 1/29/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Now The Vows | It’s not the dress or the flowers or the cake that make a wedding but the vows that are shared. A wedding signifies that a promise is made, a pledge is given. In the same way, when Jesus invites us to follow him as his disciples, we commit to growing and maturing as we walk with him. Today, we consider the promises we’re making as a congregation when we say the words “I Do!” | 1/22/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Follow Me | Jesus invites us to participate in his kingdom as disciples. As Lord, he could command that we obey; as king, he could demand that we follow. But instead he simply extends an invitation that we “Come and see!” He’s convinced that if we will just give it a try, we’ll find that his way can indeed lead us to life. | 1/18/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

God of the Covenant | Numerous times in Scripture, God uses the language of a marriage covenant to describe his relationship with his people. Rather than insist that we follow him, he invites us to experience this life with him. Accordingly, he promises his eternal faithfulness to us, and simply longs to hear us say the words “I do.” | 1/11/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

He Makes All Things New | When God declares in Rev. 21:5 that he is making all things new, it doesn’t come as a surprise to those who know him. That’s what he does! He has always been in the habit of making things new. In fact, it seems as if Scripture tells the overarching story of how in spite of humanity’s fall, he has been at work since then to bring about renewal and restoration. He makes all things new! And if this is his story, then we pick up our cues from him and speak his renewal and blessing into the world around us. | 1/5/12 | Free | View In iTunes |
