Immediately Useful
This show is a tremendous resource. The material is carefully chosen and clearly related so that you are left with some immediately useful material. It is presented in such a way that if you are surfing around; any of the episodes can be a stand-alone piece. If you are able to listen to them as a series you will appreciate the additional personal perspective of the author. I highly recommend listening and contributing feedback to as many podcasts of the series as possible. You will appreciate the value of Dave's wisdom as he can be a great "guide on the side" in your leadership role. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Informative, well done, and easy to put into practice
About five months ago my company put me through a leadership evaluation process which opened me up to the world of business coaching. Frankly I had never done much reading or attended any training to build my leadership skills, I just used common sense and observations of what worked and didn’t. I really wanted to know more about business coaching and that is what motivated me to search and find Coaching for Leaders. What Dave has put together is just plain great! I have been able to quickly learn and start practicing better communication and coaching skills with my staff. It is really energizing me! I have listened to 26 episodes and I have three mentees that are listening too. I found that starting people on episode 16 really got them thinking about where they are in their careers and that they can’t wait for the company to do something for them.
