ExplicitEpisode 33 – Live! With David Anthony Higgins and James Urbaniak on The Monty Python Matching Tie and Handkerchief | I will remember Memorial Day 2012 as a night of nerddom. Look at that picture. Even Jeremy is wearing thick-rimmed glasses in spirit. This week, we talk with two of my favorite character actors of all time, David Anthony Higgins and James Urbaniak. | 5/30/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 32 – Jonah Ray on Emo Philips – E Equals MO Squared | - It's been a long time coming, but Jonah Ray is finally on the podcast. It's highly unlikely you've never heard of The Nerdist, but if you haven't, it's pretty much the best podcast out there. As a standup, vinyl comedy was part of his education, | 5/23/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 31 – Scott Aukerman on Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks at the Cannes Film Festival | Improvised interviews. They're nothing new, but Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks perfected it as an art form. ExplicitEpisode 29 – Dave Holmes on National Lampoon’s “That’s Not Funny, That’s Sick” | National Lampoon was, in its heyday, on the forefront of sketch comedy. ExplicitEpisode 28 – Matt Knudsen on Andrew Dice Clay – Dice Rules | If it were any other album, I'd apologize for there being only one clip in this episode. But this album is not what you might call the greatest of the great. But it has a special place in Matt Knudsen's heart. - | 4/11/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 27 – Amy Phillips on Dana Carvey | This week we talk impressions with the awesome Amy Phillips. ExplicitEpisode 26 – Jordan Morris on TMBG – Flood | They may not be comedians, but the biting wit of They Might Be Giants makes them the perfect subject for this latest episode. ExplicitEpisode 24 – The Replacements – Let it Be – With Brian Stack | It's another first for Comedy on Vinyl - a non-comedy album. Long-considered an unappreciated classic, The Replacements' "Let it Be," a punk album equally well-written as it is irreverent was hugely influential on this week's guest. - | 2/21/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitEpisode 21 – Lenny Bruce – I Am Not a Nut, Elect Me! – With Matt Besser | If you think of Lenny Bruce, you probably think of the guy who took on censorship and was a martyr for the cause of free speech. Customer Reviews
Love it!
The hosts are enthusiastic about the comedy albums they future with a kind of joy that's normally reserved for sci-fi fanboys!
Great Podcast
Jason Klamm does a fantastic job reviewing and discussing the influence of these comedy albums. All the guest commentators add different perspectives to the reviews. Count me as a big fan of Comedy on Vinyl. Can't wait to hear the Phil Hartman tribute show.
Wow!
I LOVE this brilliant group. Mr. Klamm uses his friends to review comedy albums that they grew up loving, and sometimes we also hear from well-known comedy personalities as well. They are funny, and they make me want to listen to the albums all over again, as well as trying out the ones i haven't heard yet. What a cool way to learn about comedy that's new (well, to me at least).
