Imagine being wrongfully convicted for a crime you didn't commit, or imagine your child's killer is still on the loose even though there's enough evidence for an arrest. I want to help shine light on the injustices of our judicial system. I delve into court documents, attend trials, and interview those close to the case to help me tell their stories.

    The Disappearance of Dru Sjodin

    The Disappearance of Dru Sjodin

After 22-year-old Dru Sjodin disappeared from a mall parking lot in Grand Forks, North Dakota, a massive search began, ultimately leading investigators to a likely suspect.
NOTE: When referencing the search area in the episode, I misspeak and say “northwestern North Dakota and eastern Minnesota.” I should have said northeastern North Dakota and western Minnesota.

Mama2lbg ,

So well researched and well done

Big fan of this podcast. Love her voice. Love the research. It’s a calming interesting show

Not sure if you read these , but there’s one tiny thing that drives me bonkers.
An item inserted into a semi automatic handgun is NOT A CLIP. It is a magazine.

A clip is what you see in the army movies where the exposed bullets are quickly fed into the weapon

rosallea ,

Exceptional

All the right ingredients, made more complex and complete by hearing court testimony. The host is perfect; kind, neutral, well paced and honest without distracting banter. Highly recommended and one I support. Thank you for sharing and for all the work you continue to do

Meow Along ,

Superior quality

Like most people, I listen to a number of different podcasts within the true crime category. Whenever Court Junkie releases a new episode, I find myself listening to it before anything else in my queue. And yeah, they just announced that they’ll be releasing a new episode only every other week for a while. I’m undeterred. The production, story flow, and respect for victims are unmatched. This is a more serious storytelling format, but it’s not rigid. Just more objective, which I appreciate. Thank you for all you do!
