Critical Hit is a Swell Time (It F'n Rocks)

Critical is the sister podcast to Major Spoilers which has a wide focus on Comics and pop culture related to geeks. For anyone who has ever played an RPG or MMORPG, is or considered being a LARPER, or even likes a very good story, then Critical hit is for you. It is a bunch of guys (No women as usual) playing D&D and recording it. This fun, witty collection of boys in men's bodies (Rodrigo is still a boy or fetus I think) run through a Module run by their Dungeon Master Rodrigo Lopez son of Mario Lopez. Since this is a new version of D&D with new rules, the podcast goes through the motions of an imperfect game witha lot of fun, love and jokes. When you listen, you often feel as if you are in on the action because they are so descriptive. The gamers ask questions and often clarify nuances most would glide over expecting the listener to "Already Know it" If you are an experienced Gamer of any sort, or interested in checking one out to see if it is worth your time, Critical His is for you! Dont forget to check-out their sister podcast Major Spoilers for all of the Latest news on Pop Culture & Comics. Gatekeeper Comics in Topeka Kansas also has Matthew working there on Sundays. (Matthew is the Smart Alec of the crew)

Top notch D&D play by play

I got sucked into the Penny Arcade/PVP/Wil Wheaton podcast a while back, and since that just finished their 3rd session I've been looking for another to get me into the 4e groove while I wait for my own campaign to take off. This is the PERFECT podcast for many many reasons. To start, Rodrigo is an excellent DM - mixing combat and roleplay/storytelling with a lot of skill. Torq is a great example of roleplay as well, and the character is a lot of fun. Orem is the new player in all of us who wants to experience everything and is full of questions. Randace gives insight into the new Artificer class and makes me yearn for more Eberron style content. All in all, great characters, great crew, great quality and wonderful show.

Halarious and very educational All the players and characters are great, but I have to say Torq is my favorite. Everyone I play your show for love it. Even the people who don't know or like D&D love listening to the show.
