Demand Generation
There has been a shift in the mindset of businesses on "How to Find New Customers". The problem businesses face today is that sales cycles are now longer because it's become harder to engage prospects and to schedule initial meetings. When I found that the most common aspect of my sales efforts involved talking to voice mail instead of a decision maker, I knew that the sales process that I had used just a few years ago to be successful was no longer viable. As I researched for a solution that would breathe new life into my sales process I came across Jeff Ogden's white paper, "How to Find New Customers", which is the manifesto for describing how the buying process had changed and how decision makers buy today. I discovered Jeff's blog - The Fearless Competitor and as I continued my research I found that he has written many articles and podcasts that clearly articulate why the prospect is in control of the buying process today and the need for a different approach. Through Jeff's podcasts, whitepapers and blogs, I discovered the blueprint for success is creating and nurturing interest in the products and services that my company offers. His goal is to help companies find new customers and he has made that his mission.
