No wonder it did so poorly in theatres....
I rented this on demand because I love SJP and usually Hugh Grant is funny-- unfortunately the script was not only predictable, but terrible. I would love to get the $5 I wated back...as well as the 90 minutes of my life that I wasted thinking it would get better.
What about them?
Unfunny script, definitely no online chemistry between Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker. No spark or energy at all. Best performance was given by Sam Elliott and Mary Steenburgen, pros, and they fit the role. This is one movie which can be skipped.
