Despite what most of us are led to believe, there is nothing mysterious or elusive about the female orgasm. This is one of the many things you were probably never taught about sex, since you grew up in a society too afraid of it to have truly open dialogue on the subject. Ending the Sexual Dark Age will guide you, a step at a time, to the healthy attitude towards sexuality that you would have been taught in a genuinely civilized world. From practical techniques to sexual philosophy, you’ll learn you how to have better sex and more of it; in a friendly atmosphere that doesn’t demean or coddle. As a matter of fair warning, I use blunt language with a "no BS" style, and occasionally I say things that would make a sailor blush. Frank, funny, and enlightening

What a great look at sex and society's hypocritical view of sex--very heartening for someone trying to overcome years of painful "abstinence-only education" in public school, complete parental silence (out of embarassment more than disapproval), and mixed messages from the media about women/men/sex {in various combinations} in America. I can't speak for men with these experiences, but as a woman in my mid-20s, I am STILL trying to undo the damage.

This podcast is also hilarious and brutally honest, two things really necessary (I think) to talk about sex effectively. Do yourself a favor and listen to the introduction--it lays out everything and sets the tone. The language used is not for the faint of heart, but that's the point. I appreciate that this is not so much hand-holding and coddling you find in some books or magazine articles, but someone respectfully slapping the useless, counterproductive prudishness out of us and trying to get people thinking in a healthy and REALISTIC manner about sex.
