Women business owners have multiple facets
I enjoyed this first Podcast. It's interesting: as women business owners, our businesses can be all consuming. It's so easy to get sucked in and to only think about work, at the neglect of everything else in our lives. But we have to remember that first impressions are very important. If we're striving to be successful, but we drive up to a prospective client meeting in a beat-up car, a bit overweight, not looking put together, it sends off a signal that there's something wrong. And the prospect will feel that and not feel confident about working with us. Yes, I'm definitely looking for business tips too, and yet this was an important reminder to be in charge of all aspects of the entrepreneurial woman. Great podcast! Keep em coming!
Smart Woman Indeed!
I personally coached with Ali last year at the 6-figure level and I am super proud of Ali and how courageous she is at always taking the next step forward in her business. Since I know her personally, I can tell you that she is brilliant at positioning and seeing the big picture for your business. We went from $700,000 in our business to close to 2 million in that one year by just doing a few of the suggestions like having a large event and hiring a media coach. Keep up the podcasts Ali!
Not impressed
I've been following Ali for years, back when she wore cheesy blonde hair extensions down to her butt and called herself The Ezine Queen. And I applaud her for taking strides in her business, I really do. But for the serious business owner, whose business is not only an extension of my mission in life, but a vehicle to impact people's lives... sorry, getting fabulous shoes just ain't gonna cut it... I get that Ali is going for that quasi-celebrity, do what I do lifestyle brand, but when she was doing authentic business advice, I was a fan. Now that it's all about costume jewelry on her boutique and getting my nose fixed as a way to "reinvent" myself? Gimme a break. I want the business-minded Ali back. Especially if you're going to call your series "Entrepreneur Women's Success Secrets". Otherwise call it "Self-employed Valley Girl Tips".
