Engaging and Insightful
I really look forward to Mike Tirico's broadcasts. He is intelligent, engaging, and insightful. Perhaps most importantly (to me anyway), he doesn't have the "I Am The Greatest"-type personality that seems so prevalent in sports radio. His humility puts his guests at ease and makes for stellar interviews. Keep it up!
Van Pelt...PERIOD
I like this podcast only because of Scott Van Pelt. I tried to like Tirico but i just do not like him as a commentator nor as a radio host. He is a smart guy that will thrive workin behind the scenes but i just do not like the objective approach he has for every single topic. Show some character sir.
Brains not Hubris
Mike Tirico is able to intelligently discuss sports issues without relying on hot air hubris like most sports casters. He's actually able to separate himself from the story and report, rather than act as though he were an athlete himself and demand that sort of attention.
