A great podcast on existentialism
Looking at the everyday world and examining it though an existentialist lens is a hobby of mine and most certainly a passion of Barry's. His talks on the Apollo mission and Fight Club are some of my favorites. Seldom dry and always insightful, would love to have a real espresso with him someday.
Just another overly intellectualized rant...
I am afraid this self-aggrandized podcaster is provider the listener with more of the same. Most of the content is little more then a biased rant where he searches for any evidence he can to support his view of the world. Underlying his every word is a false belief that he has cornered the market on truth...I am troubled by the fact that he has Existentialism as part of the title of his podcast - he gives it a bad name. Perhaps he should study some of the rudimentary and commonly accepted aspects of existential theory - that there is no "truth", only interpretations...
I am glad to see he has little following...
