Shalom and welcome to all believers in Yeshua our Messiah (Jesus Christ). This is FaithWorks, with your host, Denise Baxley, digging deep into the Word of God, sharing notes from recent sermons. This podcast is brought to you by Thy Way Ministries, a Messianic house church (housechurch) located in Plantation, Florida. We approach the scriptures with a distinctly Messianic perspective; embracing the Hebrew roots of our faith. We ask that you not judge us by our size or in comparison to more traditional Christian churches, however, we do expect you to judge us by the Word of God that is our final authority in all things. Rightly Dividing God's Word (R) | Paul tells us to be diligent in our study to show ourselves approved to God. He says we are to be workmen who rightly divide the word of truth. That tells us so much! Listen to how dictionary.com defines the word diligent - constant in effort to accomplish something; attentive and persistent in doing anything. My People Perish (R) | Too many people are like Eve, clueless as to what the word of God says. With an aggressive reading plan, reading four or five pages a day, you can read through the Bible in one year. With a more relaxed plan, reading two or three pages a day, you can read it through in just two years. Messianic but not Sabbath Keepers
After much searching on the website they offer, I found nothing to support God's holy Sabbath other than a meager Friday evening service. There was weekday meetings along with "The Lord's Day" Sunday services but nothing substantial for Sabbath. Beware. This is not for Messianic Jews!
