Charming and informative
This is a very enjoyable podcast. It is well-organized, concise, and has a lot of variety in the topics addressed. While I am not a big seamstress, I still enjoy hearing about Isabelle's sewing projects. She does a great job with her book reviews (as might be expected of someone who teaches English Lit for a profession), and the related podcast notes at her blog are informative and accompanied by lovely photographs. Her accent is charming, and it is hard to believe that she is not a native speaker of English. Well worth the time to listen!
Wonderful!
What a lovely podcast! I feel transported to the south of France each time I listen .. and this week, I felt included in the trek to the north. This podcast is rich in sewing information (and I as a non-sewer find it interesting!) as well as filled with wonderful insight into knitting projects, yarns and the creative energy of knitting. I most enjoy the interwoven bits of literature .. and the reminder of how important books are to the well being of a culture, a people and most importantly, the individual soul.
Thank you for sharing your work, your home to the south, and your hearts' home to the north .. oh, as well as your sweet kitty with us! I look forward to many more episodes.
Fantastic!
Love this podcast! I love that it has a bit of my favorite things, knitting, sewing, reading and cooking.
