Very comprehensive and timely
I am always learning new things and being inspired listening to this podcast. It's true that sometimes issues that appear to be political are addressed on the show, but the truth is that the Biblical institution of the family is often under attack in the government. We ought to be aware of these attacks and do something about them.
Great Program
Everything affects the family. The issue of family is not an isolated one to keep in a certain part of discussions. The family unit is connected to everything because it has to function in this world and gets bombarded by all the commercials, music videos, TV shows, movies and vulgar music that pollutes this sin ravaged planet. As the family goes, so goes the nation. This program is very good at showing what should be done to keep families strong and loving.

If you need to feed your mind good stuff, dig in to Focus on The Family. I have been downloading christian ministry podcasts for about two years now, listening to them instead of the radio or while on the job. I have always found his guests and his own input to always be filled with wisdom and relevance. Their practical insight into people, politics, values, parenting, marriage and our culture are top notch. There are no holds barred here; they deal with any subject that effect our lives. Believe me, I do not swallow *anyone's* ideas; everything said is sifted through the Bible and my own experience and understanding. What is presented here passes "the test", information I can apply to my life and will show fruit. Weather you be one who is seeking truth, a new christian or one who has known God for a long time, I whole-heartedly recommend all of the Focus on The Family broadcasts.
