A little crass with a lot of cool
Megan and Jennifer do a great show, recapping episodes of Fringe, positing theories about the show and its characters, as well as taking viewer input and discussing it. Their style is not all family-friendly language (so if foul language is a problem, move along) and not weighed down with tons 'n' tons of details (so those who love minutia can move along, too), although they are pretty thorough in their discussions. They are laid back, conversational, and definitely fans of Fringe. So, if you are a fan of the show, check out Following the Pattern!
Subscribe if you'd want to see another angle
Finally caught up with all the episodes. For fairness' sake, I decided to listen to all episodes before writing a review. This podcast is amazing if you enjoy the show Fringe. Jennifer and Megan point out anything you might have missed in an episode, they move close in to inspect and dissect every situation and still have the sense to step back to see the bigger picture. Every possible angle is looked at, no matter how crazy it might sound - because let's face it, you'll never know what's gonna happen with this show. If you start with episode one and work your way to the latest episode, be patient since they did start with technical difficulties here and there. I assure you, it gets better with every episode. Every episode is structured well, and their discussions are not only limited to their own views as they take theories from listeners as well. Keep up the good work, Megan and Jennifer! A superb dynamic between the two co-hosts
You have to hand it to Megan/Jennifer for sticking to their guns. At its core, this is a podcast that provides insight and goes in directions that no other show goes; and it has evolved over time. The co-hosts know their stuff, bring a unique slant on theories, and consciously stray away from norms and standards. While not keen on vulgarities in general, I look past that and admire the individuals who run the show - great people with a lot of heart and commitment, and genuine value in the Fringe fan community.
