Bird Song Primer, Part II | Last time I talked about some basic bird songs that people can learn based on knowing the robin song. There are many other bird songs characteristic of northern Minnesota and Wisconsin that don’t require knowing the robin song as a baseline. M | 5/17/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Bird Song Primer, Part I | This time of year, I get inundated with questions from people trying to puzzle through an intriguing bird song. Learning bird songs takes time and patience, and there are no shortcuts to mastering them. I learned bird songs through a combination of trying | 5/17/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Great Podcast for Birders & Nature Lovers Everywhere
If you like birds or nature, you'll love this podcast! Laura has a wonderful style and subtle humor that brings the stories, information and joy of birdwatching alive. I listen nearly everyday while I comute into San Francisco on the train and enjoy myself so much that I sometimes forget where I am. Even though I've been birding for several years and have spent time banding hawks and leading birdwalks, I find myself learning something new with each show. Laura, please keep up the great work and thank you!
