Awesome... long awaited!
One of the funniest shows on BBC4, right up there with "Just a Minute" and "The Now Show"; i have waited a painfully long time for this show to be available as a download. Though you can listen to reruns of Just a Minute and The News Quiz on BBC7, there are some episodes you wish to download for a personal collection. Maybe BBC4 would smarten up and offer Just a Minute, Genius etc for download as well. Here is a taste: (this section requires the panel to give alternate meanings of common words) "Arsenic: Ahh i just sat on a razor!" "Dossier: A French trap".
30 minutes of laughter
The Now Show and the News Quiz match up with the best news/variety/comedy shows on this side of the pond. Hilarious stuff. Yes, unless you're really up on UK politics, you're going to get lost sometimes but that doesn't detract from the podcast. This is one of my favortite podcasts. The only bad thing about it, it's only half an hour long.
I love the Friday Night Podcast...
Whether it's Punt and Dennis with their highly irreverent humour or the News Quiz crew, I'll always listen to it. After 20 years in the US, it provides a refreshing view from back home. Wish there could be a Monday Night Podcast with the ISIHAC mob.....BBC are you listening?
