Startup Board President
I have only listened to the first podcast so far about getting board members to either make the ask or facilitate you making the contact, but I have to say Tony and his very experienced guest were spot on! It is the first problem I am confronting and just yesterday heard it is a common one. The guests suggestions were wonderful and practical. Tony's questions flowed nicely. I am in medicine, come from an impoverished, uneducated background, and seek to serve vulnerable populations now that I have received so much more education and skills to share.
This one podcast has given me multiple ways to approach the two board members "with contacts and of means" who signed as the "fundraising committee" who lack board experience in non- threatening ways to move forward. Most helpful non-profit podcast I have heard ever. Thank you!
