Brilliant - a must-listen for board game entrepreneurs
I listened to the first episode, and The Game Whisperer told me everything I was doing wrong with my Kickstarter. He interviewed me on the second episode and we figured out that there was still one thing I was doing right.
I'm biased, yes, but if you're a board game entrepreneur looking to use Kickstarter to fund a game, you cannot afford to NOT listen to this.
Interesting and Inspirational
Richard Bliss's podcast about Kickstarter gives you a real sense of what is going on in this exciting new approach to boardgame production More importantly, he and his guests put this information within the context of the boardgaming industry and other types of Kickstarter projects -- something I'd never taken the time to consider. It's truly fascinating to find out what works, what doesn't, and what Kickstarter can and can't do to help you realize your dream.
This podcast makes you want to set up your own project; it also introduces you to some really cool people and projects that are already out there. After listening to the interview with Matt Forbeck, for instance, I couldn't help myself -- I went out and bought a stack of his old books. And I'm curious to see more.
Great information from a great host
I have really enjoyed the 10 episodes to which I have listened. Richard Bliss is an inspired and level-headed host who always has great questions for his guests. The pacing and contact is excellent.
